Donald C. Robinson

President and Chief Operating Officer

All Aboard Florida is pleased to announce the addition of Donald (Don) C. Robinson as President and Chief Operating Officer.

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Don is responsible for developing all the operational functions for the passenger rail project, including procuring rolling stock and managing the engagement of third-party operators. He will work with President and Chief Development Officer P. Michael Reininger to define All Aboard Florida’s brand and customer service experience.

Don most recently served as President of Baha Mar Resorts Ltd., where he oversaw the design, development and construction of a $3.5 billion resort destination located in Nassau, Bahamas. The expansive project includes six luxury hotels, golf course, convention center and 42 restaurants and retail locations.

Don brings more than 35 years of experience developing, managing and branding complex, multi-faceted hospitality and recreational projects throughout the world. Most notably, he ran hotel operations for the entire Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. In this role, he was accountable for all 16 Walt Disney World Resort hotels (30,000 rooms total), four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, more than 400 retail and dining facilities, and 35,000 employees. He was instrumental in the opening of Disneyland Paris and led the development and opening of Hong Kong Disneyland.

His experience developing consumer brands and introducing unique customer experiences to the travel industry will be invaluable as All Aboard Florida moves forward. We are excited for this new addition to our team and look forward to Don’s vision and leadership.


P. Michael Reininger

President and Chief Development Officer

All Aboard Florida is pleased to announce the promotion of P. Michael Reininger to President and Chief Development Officer.

Michael brings nearly 30 years of new business development, master planning and brand management expertise to All Aboard Florida. His resume includes work on projects ranging from integrated urban developments to resort hotels and destination travel programs. Moreover, his background as an architect underlies his inherent ability to build “from the ground up,” a capability he has employed to devise innovative business planning and marketing frameworks for globally recognized ventures in the transportation and hospitality arenas.

“Mike has uniquely applicable experiences in transit station planning, project management and branding,” said Mr. Vincent Signorello, president of Florida East Coast Industries, Inc., the parent company of All Aboard Florida. Before joining All Aboard Florida, Michael was executive vice president and chief development officer for AECOM, a global provider of professional technical and management support services; the Master Developer for the Denver Union Station transit-oriented development project; and built a successful track record of master planning and brand development for subsidiaries of The Walt Disney Company.

John Flint

Senior Vice President of Rail Infrastructure

All Aboard Florida is pleased to announce the addition of John Flint to the team as Senior Vice President of Rail Infrastructure. In this role he will focus on designing, engineering and constructing the rail system and station platforms. John will also help manage the environmental permitting process.

John has more than 35 years of experience in transportation and engineering consulting, going back to his days in Conrail’s railroad engineering management training program. That position taught John the rail business from the bottom up, including railroad operations, inspection, maintenance and design. His expertise has evolved to providing transportation planning, feasibility studies, and preliminary and final engineering, which has made John a recognized leader overseeing the construction of complex multi-modal transportation projects.

John comes to All Aboard Florida after four years with T. Y. Lin International, a globally recognized full-service infrastructure consulting firm with a projects resume that includes the historic Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge; Miami International Airport’s South Terminal and Automated People Mover system; San Francisco Bay area’s underground BART and MUNI stations; and the Chicago Transit Authority’s Red Line Assignment, for which John served as Quality Manger.

Eugene “Gene” Skoropowski

Senior Vice President of Passenger Rail Development 

All Aboard Florida is pleased to announce the addition of Eugene “Gene” Skoropowski to the team as Senior Vice President of Passenger Rail Development.

Gene, who will be based out of Orlando, brings more than 40 years of railroad industry experience in both the private and public sectors. He has an extensive background building and managing successful passenger rail service projects in major metropolitan cities including Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Paris, London, and Amsterdam.

Most recently, Gene served as director of Rail & Transit Services – Southeast Division for the international engineering firm of HNTB. Previously he spent ten years as managing director of Northern California’s Capitol Corridor Intercity Rail Service, which he helped transform into the fastest growing and third-busiest intercity passenger route in the country by tripling ridership during his tenure. As Director of Rail projects for Fluor Corporation, he worked closely with SNCF (French National Railways) to select rolling stock that would help maximize capacity and comfort levels for one of Europe’s leading rail transportation systems.

Gene and his wife Joann have been married for 45 years and enjoy spending time with their three daughters and two grandchildren.

Gene will truly be an asset as we work together to bring the All Aboard Florida vision to life. We are excited to welcome such a seasoned professional to the All Aboard Florida team.
